Phlebotomist II Float - Miami, FL Phlebotomy float role offering variety in work where no two days are the same. Pay Range: $19.32+ per hour. Salary offers are based on factors including skills, training, experience, education, and applicable certifications. Market and organizational factors are also considered. Successful candidates may be eligible to receive annual performance bonus compensation.

Job Responsibilities Assigned a territory to cover phlebotomy duties within a Patient Service Center, doctor’s office, or as business needs dictate
Draw quality blood samples from patients and prepare those specimens for lab testing
Collect specimens according to established procedures, including drug screens, biometric screenings, and insurance exams
Enter billing information and collect payment when required
Coach, mentor, instruct, and act as a resource advisor for new employees; serve as the on-site staff point of contact and provide input to the group lead or supervisor
Travel to additional doctor’s offices or Patient Service Center sites when needed
Qualifications Required Education
High school diploma or equivalent
Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred
Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in California, Nevada, and Washington
Work Experience
Three years phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections
Minimum 2 years in a Patient Service Center environment preferred
Customer service in a retail or service environment preferred
Keyboard/data entry experience
The position requires the ability to effectively communicate in English.
