We are seeking a board-certified Maternal Fetal Medicine Physician for a locum tenens position in Texas. This 25-day assignment at a Multi-Specialty Clinic requires coverage for 12-hour shifts (7a-7a) on specific dates in July, August, and September, starting from 07/14/2025. The physician will be responsible for managing high-risk pregnancies, including twins and diabetes cases, reviewing ultrasounds for Anatomy Scans, BPP, and Growth Scans. Primary responsibilities include supervising the outpatient ultrasound unit for OB scans and providing care in the High-Risk clinic on Wednesdays. Job Responsibilities and Duties:
Manage high-risk pregnancies, including but not limited to twins and diabetes cases
Review ultrasounds for Anatomy Scans, BPP, and Growth Scans
Supervise the outpatient ultrasound unit for OB scans
Provide care in the High-Risk clinic on Wednesdays
Utilize G10 machine for scans and GE Viewpoint for review
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to provide comprehensive patient care
Conduct thorough patient evaluations and develop appropriate treatment plans
Provide expert consultation to other healthcare providers as needed
Ensure accurate and timely documentation in the Athenahealth system
Stay current with the latest developments in Maternal Fetal Medicine
Additional Information:
Must be licensed in Texas
Experience with Athenahealth and SONAR systems preferred
Board certification in Maternal Fetal Medicine required
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills essential
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical setting
