Warehouse Helper
Location: Atlanta, GA
Compensation: Hourly Pay: $18-$20/hr + annual performance bonus opportunity
Benefits: Health insurance, 401(k), PTO
Schedule: Tuesday-Saturday, 8:30 AM-5:00 PM (Overtime as needed)
We're partnering with a fast-growing home improvement retailer that serves homeowners, renovators, and contractors with high-quality building materials most notably entry doors, molding, and other in-demand products. These stores move fast, customers make big purchasing decisions, and the team is investing heavily in improving its sales experience and culture.
We're seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Helper to support daily warehouse operations. This individual plays a key role in maintaining an organized, efficient, and safe environment by assisting with receiving, storing, picking, and shipping products. The ideal candidate brings strong attention to detail, a willingness to learn, and a positive team-oriented attitude.
Key Responsibilities
- Load and unload trucks, containers, and delivery vehicles
- Move, stack, and organize products using pallet jacks or hand trucks
- Assist with order picking, packing, labeling, and preparing shipments
- Inspect incoming and outgoing materials for accuracy, damage, and proper documentation
- Support inventory control efforts by helping maintain accurate counts and reporting discrepancies
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace; properly dispose of waste and packaging materials
- Follow all safety procedures and use required PPE
- Collaborate with team members and assist with general warehouse duties as needed
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous warehouse or general labor experience is helpful but not required
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 75 lbs
- Able to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods
- Basic reading and math skills for labels, counts, and simple documentation
- Dependable, punctual, and a strong team player
