Amazon LEO is an initiative to increase global broadband access through a constellation of 3,236 satellites in low Earth orbit (LEO). Its mission is to bring fast, affordable broadband to unserved and underserved communities around the world. Amazon LEO will help close the digital divide by delivering fast, affordable broadband to a wide range of customers, including consumers, businesses, government agencies, and other organizations operating in places without reliable connectivity.
Key job responsibilities
Manage aviation hardware component lifecycle from initial concept through production, overseeing part entry, forecasting, and demand planning
Develop and implement strategic processes to optimize supply chain efficiency and material quality
Coordinate engineering change orders and production planning with contract manufacturers
Conduct comprehensive cost analyses to refine procurement strategies and support production requirements
Ensure technical specifications and cost parameters are consistently met across aviation hardware commodities
Export Control Requirement
Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in business economics, engineering, analytics, mathematics, statistics, information technology or equivalent
Experience bringing technology products to market in a fast‑paced environment
Experience with analytical tools and ability to dive deep into metrics and reporting
3+ years of supply chain management, production planning, capacity planning or manufacturing operations experience
Knowledge of material and manufacturing methods
Preferred Qualifications
Experience influencing internal and external stakeholders
PMP certificate, or Master’s degree in supply chain management, operations, engineering, analytics or related field
Experience with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations or similar technical platforms
Experience in strategic sourcing including vendor negotiations, global contract management, process improvement, operational and financial analysis

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $74,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $159,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience.
