The RN performs assessment, intervention, evaluation, and teaching as they relate to the surgical procedure. Provides patient care as part of a multi-disciplinary team based on national standards, and utilizing the nursing process. The RN functions within the Nurse Practice Act and other regulating bodies providing patient focused care. The RN participates in process improvement, professional education, committees and meetings to maintain competence and advance the mission and values of Good Samaritan Medical Center. Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned. Minimum Education / Licensure / Certification Education Graduate of an approved School of Nursing Licenses Certifications Licensed Registered Nurse, State of Florida Current BLS and ACLS certification, PALS within 1 year of hire Minimum Experience One year Medical-Surgical Nursing #LI-MQ1
