Phoenix Tailings is a rapidly growing clean mining and metals production startup dedicated to sustainable and economic critical metals production. They are seeking a driven, innovative Data Analyst for their Leadership Development Program, which aims to immerse individuals in chemical process development and prepare them for future leadership roles within the company. Responsibilities Analyze and synthesize data across R&D, operations, and supply chain to support strategic business decisions Build data pipelines and dashboards to monitor critical metrics across our clean metal production workflows Identify inefficiencies or opportunities for process improvement using data-driven insights Collaborate with engineers and scientists to model and interpret experimental results Leverage statistical tools and machine learning models to forecast demand, optimize inputs, or detect anomalies Assist in developing and standardizing data governance and documentation practices Present actionable findings to cross-functional teams and executive leadership Support the integration of new tools and analytics platforms to enhance business intelligence capabilities Qualification Required Bachelors or Masters degree in Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, or a related field Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, or R for data manipulation and analysis Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) Solid foundation in statistical analysis and problem-solving Passion for sustainability, innovation, and clean technology Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset Seniority level
