Job Title:
Craftsman Department: Ace Handyman Services Reports To: Customer Success Manager FLSA Status) Non-Exempt/Hourly $26 to $28 per hour D.O.E. and availability
Position Summary Our craftsmen are responsible for performing quality workmanship while delivering 100% customer satisfaction .
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Conduct repairs or complete projects in the trades of carpentry, tiling, drywall, fixture and appliance electrical work and other handyman work. Assist with the presentation of repair estimates and budgets for presentation to customers. Communicate with customers regarding changes to job scope, including labor and materials. Accurately track and record all job data using company provided software. Routinely report job status updates to Customer Success Manager. Build and strengthen the Ace Handyman Services brand by providing quality craftsmanship at all times.
Job Qualifications and Skills
Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and time management skills. Ability to communicate both verbally and written in an effective and professional manner. Successful track record as a craftsman or professional handyman, strongly preferred. Own the necessary tools to perform carpentry, tiling, drywall, plumbing, electrical, and other handyman work. Have reliable transportation that can haul ladders and materials, current auto insurance, and a valid driver's license, and clean driving record. Maintain a clean and professional appearance.
Physical Demands
Occasionally exert up to 100 pounds of force to lift, carry, pull, or otherwise move objects. Climbing stairs and ladders using proper safety measures. Bending, stooping, twisting, reaching, and standing for lengthy periods of time. Operating heavy machinery as needed. Follow worksite safety and cleanliness protocols.
Work Environment
Cold or hot weather. Wet or humid conditions. Moderate noise working with power tools and equipment. Flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet the needs of the business.
