Overnight Warehouse Supervisor – Floor & Decor

Floor & Decor seeks an experienced Overnight Warehouse Supervisor to lead daily warehouse operations at each retail store. The Supervisor will supervise warehouse specialists, order pickers, and forklift operators; support the Receiving Supervisor in managing the daily freight schedule; and ensure efficient shipping, receiving, inventory control, and safety programs.

Responsibilities

  • Daily scheduling of warehouse personnel to maintain proper manning for shipping and receiving.
  • Direct daily warehouse activities, including shipping, receiving, maintenance, and inventory control.
  • Manage Storage Buy transactions, receive errors, and product staging.
  • Maintain warehouse equipment; implement preventive maintenance programs and communicate necessary repairs to CEM and Operations Manager.
  • Execute warehouse safety programs to provide a safe and clean workplace in compliance with OSHA regulations.
  • Ensure all associates are trained and follow standard operating procedures.
  • Handle progressive disciplinary process, including counseling, oral and written warnings.
  • Handle general employee inquiries and resolve problems.
  • Coordinate with other departments to facilitate efficient warehouse operations.
  • Complete necessary Activity Reports for management.
  • Monitor flow of paperwork from Receiving to Inventory Control Specialist for timely data entry.
  • Resolve discrepancies with shipping, invoices, packing slips, and receiver reports.
  • Execute Storage Buy Audit COP.
  • Stage products for counting and inspection.
  • Store products properly to conserve space and comply with safety procedures.
  • Oversee rotation of inventories within the warehouse.
  • Perform other related duties as directed by management.

Qualifications

  • 1‑3 years of supervisory experience, preferably in a warehouse or distribution center environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal, team building, delegating, and follow‑up skills.
  • Ability to work with and maintain effective working relationships with other departments.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Competent in basic mathematical calculations.
  • Strong computer skills; ability to work in Windows‑based systems.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment and meet established deadlines.
  • Available to work extended hours, especially during peak seasons.

Working Conditions

The employee is frequently exposed to a warehouse environment and moving vehicles. The noise level in the work environment is typically moderate to noisy.

Physical/Sensory Requirements

Ability to exert 30–60 pounds of force occasionally and 20–30 pounds frequently, or greater than negligible up to 20 pounds constantly, to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects. The employee often stands, walks, reaches, climbs or balances, and stoops, kneels, crouches, or crawls.

  • Saturday 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM
  • Sunday 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM

  • Saturday 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM
  • Sunday 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM
