Job Title: Production Supervisor
Job Description
- We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Supervisor to join our dynamic team within the automotive industry
- This role will involve overseeing production processes, ensuring safety standards, and promoting continuous improvement
Job Responsibilities
- Supervise, lead, coach, and direct team leaders and labor in meeting production volume, cost, quality, and delivery schedules
- Manage departmental performance measures, including visual controls, and provide regular progress reports
- Plan headcount and manage schedules, including absences, holidays, and training
- Complete daily attendance register and ADP data entry
- Conduct standardized work audits and ensure adherence to Standardized Work
- Collaborate with Team Leaders to schedule operator rotations
Essential Skills
- Experience in production supervision within the automotive industry
- Knowledge of UAW union protocols
- Proficiency in production management, safety, continuous improvement, and supervision
- Familiarity with Six Sigma, Lean manufacturing, and process improvement
This is a Permanent position based out of Detroit, MI.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $35.00 - $35.00/hr.
