Position Summary
Exeter Hospital is seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse for an 8-week winter surge assignment. This is a 10-bed ICU caring for critically ill adult patients with a typical community-hospital case mix, including medical, surgical, cardiac, respiratory, and sepsis-related emergencies. The unit also stabilizes some pediatric patients when necessary and manages acute stroke patients in coordination with telespecialty support, as the hospital is a
Primary Stroke Center . Required Experience & Skills
2+ years recent ICU experience Epic experience required Strong clinical skills with:
Medical emergencies Post-surgical care Respiratory failure & ventilators Sepsis management Cardiac and hemodynamic monitoring Stabilization of pediatric patients Acute stroke care (telestroke support available)
Certifications Required
BLS – AHA ACLS – AHA
