SCHEDULE: Full Time, Hybrid TRAVEL REQUIRED: 0% - 25% COMPENSATION: $80,485.00 to $154,755.00 base salary plus potential for variable compensation. Base pay is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Farm Credit Mid-America/Rural 1st may compensate outside of the salary range for bona fide reasons not related to membership in a protected class. The Data Warehouse Developer is responsible for developing multi-dimensional data models to support analytics and reporting. Coordinates with departmental analysts and enterprise stakeholders to build and curate data objects that enable business units to optimize delivery via self-service reporting, dashboards, and analytics. How You Will Spend Your Time Designing, developing, and modifying multidimensional database structures to support reporting and analytics. Maintaining data lineage through source-to-target mapping documentation and documenting rules and procedures for transforming, processing, and loading data into the data warehouse and data marts. Analyzing data quality issues in collaboration with application and business process owners. Empowering business users by building and maintaining a user-friendly self-service analytics platform. Optimizing data models and query performance to ensure uptime and meet data refresh timelines. Collaborating with stakeholders to identify data needs and translate them into analytic solutions. Adhering to SQL coding standards and participating in peer reviews. Required qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent experience) in computer science, data sciences, or a related field, along with four years of relevant work experience in building, deploying, and supporting Enterprise Data Warehouse capabilities. Preferred experience includes: Supervised work environment. Handling straightforward problems. Providing clean, transformed data for analysis. Applying software engineering best practices (version control, testing, continuous integration). Maintaining data documentation and definitions. Explaining policies and practices related to the role. Obtaining SnowPro Core certification within 1 year is preferred. Mental & Physical Requirements This role involves sitting, using hands for tasks, and oral communication. Frequent standing or walking, occasional reaching, lifting up to ten pounds, and visual requirements for close and distance vision are expected. The environment is typically moderate noise. Physical and mental capabilities include problem-solving and occasional physical tasks. A valid driver's license and ability to drive long distances may be required.
