This role involves delivering high-quality care to adult, geriatric, and telemetry patients in a fast-paced environment. Floating to other non-critical care units, including the ED, may be required.Key Responsibilities
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using the nursing process. Monitor patient conditions and interpret telemetry strips. Develop and update individualized care plans based on patient needs. Perform interventions according to priorities and hospital policies. Provide patient and family education; revise care plans as needed. Document all care activities and patient responses accurately. Ensure a safe and therapeutic environment; monitor equipment and safety standards. Collaborate with healthcare team and maintain compliance with all regulatory standards.Requirements
Current RN license (state of practice). Minimum 2 years recent Med/Surg or Telemetry experience. Must be able to read telemetry strips; pass dysrhythmia test during first week. Current BLS and ACLS certifications. Health certificate, PPD or chest X-ray (if applicable). Strong communication skills; ability to work in a team environment.Additional Details
Hourly Rate: -$55/hr (Local). If 50+ miles from position, you qualify for travel stipends! OT Rate: $82.50 Ratios: Med/Surg 1:5 days / 1:6 nights; Telemetry 1:4 days / 1:5 nights. Floating: Required to other inpatient units and ED if needed.
