Overview UF Health Leesburg Hospital is seeking a skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our Rehabilitation Services team. This full-time role provides hands-on, patient-centered care across a diverse inpatient and/or outpatient population. Key Responsibilities Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans. Deliver evidence-based OT interventions to restore function, mobility, and daily living skills. Collaborate closely with physicians, nursing, PT, SLP, and case management to support coordinated care. Educate patients and families on home programs, adaptive equipment, and safe functional activity. Document assessments, progress notes, and treatment outcomes in accordance with hospital and regulatory standards. Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and contribute to discharge planning. Maintain professional competencies and uphold UF Health quality and safety standards.

Qualifications Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy required. Current Florida OT License (or eligibility prior to start). BLS certification required (or obtained within orientation period). Strong clinical reasoning, communication skills, and patient engagement ability. Preferred: Experience in acute care, inpatient rehab, or outpatient settings.

Schedule Full-time; specific shift discussed during interview. May include weekend or holiday rotation based on department needs.
