Role Type : 1099 Independent Contractor
Caseload Expectation : 15+ weekly clients

Who We Are Full Intentions is an affirming, inclusive, and culturally responsive practice. Our work is best aligned with clinicians who are comfortable working with
LGBTQIA+ clients, BIPOC, and individuals with intersecting identities , and who recognize how systems, identity, and lived experience influence mental health and performance. This alignment supports ethical, effective, and human-centered care.
Who We Are Full Intentions is a modern mental health and performance practice built on the belief that healing and growth start with presence and intention.
We’re therapists, coaches, and movement professionals creating space for people to feel grounded, capable, and connected again — in life, sport, and performance.
Our work lives at the intersection of mental health, performance psychology, nervous system regulation, and embodiment. We don’t separate the mind from the body, or healing from performance — we move with intention through all of it.
If you’re tired of therapy that feels boxed in, burned out by systems that don’t fit, and ready to do meaningful work with purpose, you’ll feel at home here.
Who We’re Looking For We’re looking for a fully licensed therapist who wants to build a consistent, meaningful caseload (15+ clients/week) within a values-driven practice.
You understand pressure, identity, transition, and growth — whether through lived experience as an athlete/performer or through your work with high-performing or high-demand populations.
You value depth, regulation, and presence in the room — and you’re not interested in rushing the work just to hit numbers.
This role is a strong fit if you : Are seeking 15–25+ weekly clients Are a former athlete, performer, or have experience working with athletes or performance-driven populations Understand identity, burnout, transitions, and nervous system dysregulation Appreciate mind-body, somatic, trauma-informed, or mindfulness-based approaches Want autonomy without isolation — independence with support Care about authenticity, alignment, and meaningful impact
What You’ll Do Provide therapy to clients navigating identity, transition, performance-related stress, anxiety, depression, and growth Bring a grounded, relational, and human approach to the work Maintain timely, insurance-compliant documentation (we streamline the admin so you can focus on clients) Collaborate with a small, intentional team that values honesty, creativity, and aligned practice
Requirements Fully licensed clinician (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LMHC, PsyD, etc.) Licensed in Texas (additional state licenses are a plus) Comfortable providing telehealth services Ability to maintain ethical, timely documentation Professional liability insurance (or willingness to obtain)
Preferred (Not Required) Former athlete or performer Experience in sport psychology, performance psychology, or high-pressure environments Training or interest in somatic, EMDR-informed, trauma-informed, or mindfulness-based work Comfort working with motivated, performance-oriented clients
What We Offer $50–$70 per session (1099 contractor role) Steady referrals to support a 15+ client caseload All billing, insurance, marketing and admin handled for you — no chasing claims Freedom to design your schedule around your life Creative freedom to practice in your voice and style Community + collaboration — connection without corporate noise Room to grow as we expand into integrated mental health and movement spaces
Why Full Intentions We’re not chasing numbers — we’re building something real. If you believe therapy should feel alive, embodied, and intentional — and you want to do sustainable, meaningful work with people who are ready to show up — you’ll fit right in here.
