About Pumpinheart

Heart failure remains one of the most urgent unmet needs in cardiology, especially HFpEF (Heart Failure with preserved Ejection Fraction), which accounts for over half of all heart failure cases yet lacks effective device-based therapies. Pumpinheart is addressing this gap with the world’s first transcatheter, implantable diastolic heart pump, engineered to reduce left atrial pressure during diastole and improve cardiac filling.

A spin-out from the

Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI) , Pumpinheart is pioneering a new category of minimally invasive mechanical circulatory support to transform outcomes for millions of HFpEF patients. Supported by clinical and scientific leaders across Europe and the U.S., the company is entering a pivotal phase of validation, regulatory planning, and commercialization.

This role offers a rare opportunity to shape a

first-in-class cardiac device

with the potential to redefine HFpEF treatment globally.

The Opportunity

Pumpinheart is forming a select Advisory Board of heart failure experts, interventional cardiologists, cardiac surgeons (with MCS & Transplant specialization), medtech innovators, and strategic investors. We are seeking an experienced
