Mount Kisco, NY 10549
Scheduled:
5 days per week, 40 Hours in week Shift:
Day shift, Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm
Hourly Compensation:
$23.00 - $2.00 on W2
Responsibilities: Greet patients and visitors promptly with a professional, courteous approach. Obtain patient history and accurately transcribe physician-dictated notes and fee tickets into the EHR. Maintain strict patient confidentiality and compliance with clinic policies. Escort patients to appropriate areas such as reception, dilation, or testing rooms. Support physicians by preparing supplies and assisting during patient care. Provide backup support to technicians as needed. Perform visual acuity testing following established clinical guidelines. Conduct autorefraction, lensometry, tonometry, and related diagnostic tests per protocol. Complete visual field, glare, color vision, and Schirmer’s tear testing based on clinical need. Review charts, post results, and update prior visit information in the EHR. Clean and sterilize instruments; maintain autoclave per safety and infection-control standards. Demonstrate effective care for geriatric patients and patients of all ages. Stock exam rooms, monitor supply levels, and replace items as needed. Maintain clean, organized exam rooms and testing areas. Check medication/supply expiration dates and follow appropriate replacement procedures. Follow all safety rules and clinic protocols consistently.
Required Qualification: BLS from AHA
