Intuit’s Global Business Solutions Group (GBSG) delivers tools and services that enhance small‑business owners’ ability to manage cash flow. The Fintech Risk Operations team protects customers and Intuit from financial losses, fraud, and compliance risk.
Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Performance Coaching
Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of risk operations analysts across domains such as Fraud, IDV, and KYC/KYB.
Translate business goals into individual performance objectives.
Deliver consistent, actionable coaching via 1:1s, live case reviews, and quality‑assurance (QA) analysis.
Operational Excellence & Proactive Risk Management
Drive performance to exceed core operational KPIs (e.g., alert review SLAs, decision quality, false‑positive rates).
Ensure meticulous documentation and SOP adherence through a robust QA program.
Use performance and QA data as a coaching tool to identify gaps and guide improvements.
Lead the team in proactively identifying, assessing, and documenting operational and financial risks related to new product features, system changes, and policies.
Change Leadership & Adaptability
Act as a visible change champion, translating strategic shifts into a clear “why” for the team.
Coach resilience and adaptability, fostering skills needed in a constantly evolving fintech environment.
Monitor regulatory changes and risk trends, converting them into actionable updates for playbooks and controls.
Mobilize talent, define new playbooks, and partner across the organization to ensure readiness.
Qualifications
Proven People Leadership: 3+ years formal people‑leadership experience with a track record of coaching high‑performing operational teams.
High‑Performance Coaching: A visible player‑coach mindset with success in building and scaling teams.
Resilience & Change Management: Ability to guide teams through high‑pressure, ambiguous, or rapidly changing environments.
Deep Domain Knowledge: 5+ years in a high‑growth risk operations environment, preferably with SMB or B2B focus.
Operational Excellence: Experience driving team performance against critical KPIs and implementing data‑driven plans.
Compliance & Controls Mindset: Proven ability to foster a culture of compliance under strict regulatory requirements (e.g., BSA/AML, KYC/KYB).
Technical Aptitude: Comfort with case‑management systems, data visualization tools (Looker, Tableau), and rapid mastery of proprietary systems.
Data‑Driven Decision Making: Analytical mindset with process‑excellence frameworks (Six Sigma, Lean); ability to use data to identify root causes and build business cases.
Strategic Communication & Influence: Excellent verbal and written skills, adept at using data to motivate teams and influence stakeholders.
Bachelor’s degree in Management, Finance, Risk Management, or a related field.
Professional certifications (CFE, ACAMS) preferred.

The expected base pay range for this position is: $156,300.00 – $234,500.00.
