Job Description Pay Range: $55hr - $65hr

The engineer will support and lead design activities for new and existing products involving medium frequencies and edge rates while ensuring design for manufacturing throughout the development cycle.

The role includes supporting design modifications, resolving complex engineering issues, providing technical guidance, and contributing to project milestones.

Documentation, presentations, test procedures, and operations manuals are part of the responsibilities.

Requirement/Must Have

Minimum 3 years of experience in Analog Circuit Design.

Minimum 3 years of RF Electronics.

Minimum 2 years of Schematics Capturing and PCBA Layout in Altium or Cadence.

Minimum 3 years of lab experience troubleshooting electronics in Analog and RF domains.

Minimum 2 years of experience working with Network Analyzer, Frequency Generator, Vector Analyzer, and digital or analog scope.

Experience

Experience designing, developing, modifying, testing, evaluating, and integrating electronic systems.

Experience analyzing electrical requirements and conducting experimental tests

Experience selecting components based on specification and reliability analysis.

Experience supporting and leading design activities and design modifications for existing products.

Experience identifying component characteristics that affect system performance.

Experience generating schematics with digital and analog circuits.

Experience providing PCB layout guidance.

Experence developing methodologies and algorithms for specialized applications such as acoustics, sonar,communications, and sensor processing.

Experience developing presentations, training materials, operations manuals, and test procedures.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and integrate electronic equipment and components.

Determine design approaches and parameters based on requirements.

Analyze electrical requirements and assess feasibility within constraints.

Conduct experimental tests, evaluate results, and establish operating data.

Select components and equipment based on specification analysis.

Identify component operational characteristics that impact system sustainability.

Support and lead design activities for new and existing products.

Apply electrical engineering principles across development and manufacturing debug activities.

Lead design modifications driven by component obsolescence.

Provide technical solutions to complex engineering problems.

Understand and generate digital and analog schematics.

Provide PCB layout guidance.

Should Have

Strong communication skills and ability to work across cross-functional teams.

Practical knowledge of project management and vendor analysis.

Skills

Knowledge of analog and RF circuit design.

Ability to troubleshoot electronics in a lab environment.

Ability to work with Network Analyzers, Frequency Generators, Vector Analyzers, and oscilloscopes.

Familiarity with GPS electronics and circuit design.

Experience with A/D and D/A circuit design and interfacing.

Familiarity with industry-standard EDA tools for schematic capture and PCB layout.

Experience in military product development.

Qualification or Education

Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior experience, or Graduate Degree and minimum 2 years of experience, or 8 years of experience in lieu of a degree.

Alternate path: Bachelor’s Degree and 9 years of experience, or Graduate Degree and 7 years of experience, or 13 years of experience in lieu of a degree.
