Overview
We are seeking a skilled Workday Time and Absence Analyst to join our team. This role will be responsible for managing and optimizing our organization's time tracking processes within the Workday system globally. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Workday's time tracking and absence functionality, along with the ability to work with key HR stakeholders in understanding and defining requirements to deliver outcomes in the time tracking and absence space.
Key Responsibilities
Configure and maintain Workday Time Tracking and Workday Absence Modules - additional Workday module experience/expertise is a plus
Design and implement time tracking and absence policies and procedures
Provide system support and troubleshooting for time-related issues
Generate and analyze reporting related to time and absence
Ability to speak in business friendly terms and simplify complex topics for a business facing user
Stay updated on Workday functionality, updates and new features related to time and absence
Develop and maintain documentation for time tracking processes
Identify and implement process improvements
Required Qualifications
3+ years of experience with Workday, including experience with Time Tracking and Absence modules - Experience with deploying Workday time tracking and absence is a plus
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or equivalent experience
Desired Skills & Capabilities
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - the ability to read reports and data sets to identify trends, issues or gaps, and then making recommendations or sharing insights on what was found
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - must be able to speak with business users who are not as tech savvy. The ability to simplify complex topics into understandable points is critical for success in this role. Must be able to generate clear and concise written communication.
Proficiency in data analysis and reporting, in particular the ability to create your own reports for a specific purpose or to achieve a specific goal
Ability to read policy documents and interpret them into Workday time configuration, as well as identify areas where more clarification is needed
Detail oriented with the ability to self-police quality and double check your own work for accuracy. Time and absence is an area where the thorough and detailed thrive!
