We invite applications for a full‑time Post‑Doctoral Researcher with experience in the statistical analysis of multivariate evolutionary time series or related topics. The position is in Dr. Yoel Stuart’s lab and has a duration of approximately 1.5 years, potentially extendable contingent on grant funding. The funded project studies microevolution in a 20,000‑year‑long sequence of the fossil stickleback fish Gasterosteus doryssus.

Duties and Responsibilities
Analyze and interpret a complete phenotypic and paleoecological dataset from the fossil fish sequence;
Prepare and publish manuscripts;
Assist with data curation and archival;
Supervise undergraduate researchers assisting with the project;
Possibly learn fossil preparation and conduct collection work if needed.
As a Teaching Post‑Doctoral, the researcher may teach courses as an Instructor of Record depending on research requirements, funding, interest, and career goals.

Minimum Education and Work Experience
Master’s Degree in Evolutionary Biology, Paleobiology, or a related field.
At least one manuscript in peer review describing a study of evolutionary time series or related analysis.
Valid driver’s license and willingness to drive a field vehicle.
Preferred Qualifications
PhD in Evolutionary Biology, Paleobiology, or a related field.
At least one peer‑reviewed publication describing a study of evolutionary time series or related analysis.
Computer Skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
Proficiency in R and producing reproducible, shareable code and projects.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Yes
Required operation of university owned vehicles:
