We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior HVAC Technician to join our commercial service team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintenance and repair of commercial HVAC systems, including boilers, chillers, cooling towers, rooftop units, and split systems among others. This role requires excellent technical knowledge, problem‑solving skills, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee maintenance and repair of commercial heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems, including boilers, chillers, cooling towers, rooftop units, split systems, etc.
Diagnose and resolve HVAC system issues efficiently and effectively.
Conduct regular inspections of HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and compliance with industry standards.
Maintain accurate records of service and maintenance activities, including parts used and time spent on jobs.
Assist junior technicians with technical support, offering advice and troubleshooting assistance when on call and as needed.
Communicate with customers to explain issues, recommend solutions, and provide exceptional customer service.
Adhere to safety protocols and promote a safe working environment.
Participate in the on‑call rotation schedule to address urgent service needs.
Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in HVAC preferred.
10-15 years of experience in commercial HVAC service and repair.
Strong experience with boilers, chillers, cooling towers, rooftop units, split systems, etc.
Master’s License in HVAC, or willingness to pursue one.
Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, controls, and equipment.
Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Work Schedule
Monday to Friday, with the willingness to work evenings and weekends if needed.
