Job Description The Wine Store Sales Associate assists guests with all steps of their shopping experience, including guiding them to products, securing out-of-reach items, loading heavy items, and making suggestions. Reports to the Beverage Managers. Hourly rate: $18.00-$19.00.
Provides prompt, efficient, and friendly guest service.
Educates guests about Italian wines, beer, and beverages sold at Eataly.
Receives and stocks wine and wine store merchandise; may review invoices.
Rotates, faces and replenishes merchandise.
Executes La Scuola Sip & Savor wine classes under the direction of the Beverage Director.
Sets up for each class, including rolling silverware, setting places, and gathering materials.
Checks in guests and introduces classes.
Opens wine and pours for guests.
Describes flavor profile, pairing detail and winery information.
Breaks down after each class.
Performs other duties as required or assigned.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Wine sale experience.
Italian wine knowledge preferred.
Job Requirements
Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally; up to 20 pounds frequently; up to 10 pounds constantly to move objects.
Ability to exert well‑paced mobility for periods up to 4 hours.
Flexible availability, including weekends, preferred.
