Responsibilities
Perform mammography and DEXA procedures as ordered by a physician.
Assist radiologist or radiology resident during interventional mammography, within scope of licensure and training.
Function in an ethical and professional manner.
Participate in extended work schedule of the mammography unit when necessary within licensure limits.
Demonstrate knowledge and skills to provide care appropriate to patient ages and development through life cycle, including neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
Requirements
Current New Jersey license to practice Radiologic Technology.
Working knowledge of X‑Ray, mammography, and computer technology typically used in a Radiology Department.
Sensitivity and skills to effectively interact with patients, physicians, hospital employees, and students.
Good reading and deductive skills for interpreting physicians' requests and solving problems.
Ability to think and act quickly to deliver quality and efficient patient care.
Salary Range:
34.90 – 57.58 USD per hour
