Description This position requires performing a variety of radiological technical procedures specific to the diagnosis and treatment of breast disease in a high-volume outpatient setting. Responsibilities include producing high-quality radiographic images while interacting with patients in a caring and comforting manner. You will also perform required quality control activities mandated by the Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA) and the FDA. Depending on location, you may be required to utilize general radiography skills to perform diagnostic radiology exams.
Required Qualifications
Successful completion of a formal radiologic technology training program meeting the requirements for registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
Washington Radiologic Technologist license upon hire.
National Provider BLS from the American Heart Association upon hire.
National Registered Technologist – Radiography, American Registry of Radiologic Technologists upon hire.
National Registered Technologist – Mammography within one year of hire.
Dependent on location, prior general radiography experience may be required.
Preferred Qualifications
Two years of full-time mammography experience.
