Base pay range $33.09/hr - $47.13/hr
Brief Description Sign On Bonus: $5,000
Purpose of Job
This position is responsible for performing high quality and accurate diagnostic x‑rays and interventional exams in accordance with established procedures.
Job Functions
Interacts with patients, providers, and staff in a professional and courteous manner to ensure safety for our patients.
Produces high quality and accurate diagnostic x‑ray and interventional exams.
Assists with maintenance of equipment to ensure patient safety and proper working order.
Reviews cases with Radiologist to ensure accuracy of clinical data obtained.
Performs intravenous access technique as needed.
Demonstrates room and equipment cleaning process between patients.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Lead Functions
Serves as a resource and provides technical guidance to staff Technologist.
Assists with team communication, staffing/scheduling, time and attendance, and performance management.
Trains and mentors new and current staff.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Education and Work Experience
Graduate of an AMA accredited school of Radiology.
Meet basic requirements for the ACR accreditation.
Current Ridgeview Radiology Technologist.
3+ years of Radiology experience.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Knowledge of anatomy and pathology seen on x‑ray and CT scans.
Ability to meet and maintain the necessary background checks as aligned with position functions.
Ability to communicate in the English language for effective written and verbal correspondence.
Ability to serve patients in a friendly and efficient manner.
Strong computer skills and basic Microsoft Office applications.
Ability to respond appropriately to unpredictable situations and diverse patient populations.
Ability to work autonomously and as a team.
Capable of making independent decisions with good critical thinking and problem solving skills.
Ability and knowledge to complete job functions at all Ridgeview Imaging locations.
License and Certifications
Registered by the ARRT.
CPR Certified.
