In this key role, you will assist physicians with diagnostic and interventional cardiac and pulmonary angiographic procedures. This will include operating digital cine radiographic equipment, as well as providing hemodynamic monitoring and scrub assistance on diagnostic and interventional procedures.
The Cath Lab Technologist will assist with digital cine acquisition. Perform digital analysis of LV wall motion, coronary artery sizing and stenosis. Perform panning, collimation and filtering. You will rotate within Interventional Cardiology to include Pediatric Cath, Adult Cath, Peripheral Vascular and Electrophysiology. The position includes on-call responsibilities with the expectation of a 30 minute response time.
*May be required to float to other UCLA Cath Lab locations*
Salary Range: $58.74 - $77.50 Hourly
Job Qualifications
ARRT license – required
CRT license – required
BCLS certificate from American Heart Association or American Red Cross – required
At least 6 months in a Cath Lab, IR suite or similar settings – strongly preferred
At least 1 year procedural experience – preferred
ARRT CI (Cardiac-Interventional) certification – strongly preferred
ARRT VI (Vascular-Interventional Radiography) certification – strongly preferred
STEMI experience – strongly preferred
Must be able to move over 35lbs. and wear up to 25lbs. of lead apron
Ability to respond appropriately to emergency situations
