Security Officer – Four Seasons Hotel Seattle
Four Seasons Hotel Seattle is looking for a Security Officer who shares our passion for excellence and is enthusiastic about creating the ultimate service experience. This full‑time position reports to the Director of Security and requires U.S. work authorization.
Location Sleek urban retreat in the Pacific Northwest. Surrounded by snow‑capped mountain peaks, deep‑blue waters and evergreen forests, Seattle is both wild and trendy. Our hotel is in downtown Seattle near the Seattle Art Museum, Pike Place Market, and Elliott Bay. Residents can enjoy local food at Goldfinch Tavern and explore the city’s vibrant neighborhoods.
Key Responsibilities
Assist hotel team with protection of guests, patrons and associates; their property, hotel property, building and grounds.
Enforce hotel rules, regulations and policies and promote safety awareness.
Respond to emergency calls, support the Fire Command Center and maintain knowledge of fire/life systems.
Patrol building, correct safety and security hazards, and carry a fire extinguisher as needed.
Implement security and safety policies and operate the Operations Center (telecom, CCTV, alarm, vendor access, key control).
Write comprehensive incident reports, investigate incidents, and maintain records.
Act as liaison with law‑enforcement agencies, city and federal agencies, and hotel associations.
Provide basic security services including key control, lock problems, and lock‑out procedures.
Maintain workers’ compensation, health and safety records.
Transport potentially contaminated items in accordance with the Blood‑Borne Pathogens Program.
Collect, log and distribute lost and found; perform bag checks of staff leaving the property.
Preferred Qualifications & Skills
At least 1 year of security experience, preferably in hotels.
High school diploma (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
Ethical approach to resolving situations.
Strong interpersonal and relationship‑building skills.
Organized, safe, and prudent work style.
Flexible schedule – weekdays, weekends, holidays, evening/overnight shifts.
Proficient reading, writing and oral English.
Ability to multitask in a high‑volume environment.
Strong problem‑solving and conflict‑resolution skills.
Desired Attributes
