This full‑time position offers competitive pay, generous benefits, and a supportive work environment.
Schedule Monday – Friday; 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Location Alameda and Contra Costa Counties
Responsibilities
Provide spiritual/pastoral services promptly after admission.
Complete a chaplain’s spiritual assessment for patients requesting services.
Offer pastoral/spiritual counseling aligned with patient/family wishes, needs, and traditions.
Coordinate visits by clergy from specific traditions.
Travel between multiple patient sites on a daily basis.
Education & Experience
Master’s degree in Divinity, Theology or related field from an accredited university.
At least 4 units of Clinical Pastoral Education.
Minimum of one year of experience in a clinical pastoral, chaplaincy, or pastoral counseling role.
Experience in hospice or home health preferred.
Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations
Board Certified Chaplain certification preferred.
Pay Range $35.00 – $43.25 hourly
