What You’ll Do As an ER Veterinarian at Apex Vets, you will:
Manage a full range of emergency and urgent care cases
Develop diagnostic and treatment plans with efficiency and clarity
Perform ER procedures including laceration repairs, abdominal taps, thoracocentesis, and more
Partner closely with our ECC technicians, assistants, and client care team
Collaborate with our in‑house surgery team, specialists, and referring veterinarians
Document thoroughly and communicate clearly in all medical records
Bring leadership, curiosity, and calm to high‑acuity situations
Help shape our growing ER service with your ideas and experience

What You Bring
DVM/VMD degree and eligibility for Maryland licensure
Prior ER experience preferred (new grads with ER interest considered case‑by‑case)
Excellent clinical judgment and strong communication skills
