Overview
The MES Opcenter/Camstar Business Analyst will act as the liaison between manufacturing operations, quality, and IT teams to support, enhance, and optimize the Siemens Opcenter/Camstar MES platform. This role is responsible for gathering requirements, designing MES solutions, supporting system configuration, and ensuring seamless integration with shop-floor and enterprise systems.
Responsibilities
Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for MES enhancements and new functionality.
Configure, test, and deploy Opcenter/Camstar modules to support manufacturing workflows.
Translate process needs into functional specifications and collaborate with technical teams on implementation.
Support system troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Develop and maintain MES documentation, including functional specs, test cases, and training materials.
Work with cross-functional teams (Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, IT) to ensure solution alignment and system reliability.
Assist in MES integrations with ERP, equipment interfaces, and other automation systems.
