This individual will build a robust understanding of the AI vendor market, manage relationships, and translate external advancements into meaningful internal opportunities. The role also oversees the strategic direction of internal communications and employee engagement efforts, supported by NBCU’s comms team, ensuring employees are informed, inspired, and equipped to adopt AI responsibly.

Key Responsibilities

External Partnerships & Vendor Ecosystem Strategy

Serve as NBCU’s subject matter expert on the AI vendor landscape, maintaining a centralized register of key players, capabilities, strengths/weaknesses, product roadmaps, and comparative evaluations.

Build and nurture strategic relationships with existing and emerging AI vendors.

Regularly gather product demos, track industry developments, and assess alignment with NBCU’s business priorities.

Develop and deliver executive briefings, white papers, and internal reports that synthesize vendor insights and identify opportunities for co‑creation or differentiation.

Connect internal stakeholders with relevant vendors and guide alignment between external solutions and internal initiatives.

Insight Sharing & Community Engagement

Translate external innovation into internal inspiration: create and lead educational programming such as seminars, hackathons, vendor webinars, and hands‑on learning labs, including for non‑technical audiences.

Foster a community of interest across NBCU’s divisions by curating experiences that bring internal teams together around emerging technologies.

Organize and moderate innovation showcases and cross‑functional co‑creation events to spark collaboration and experimentation.

Strategic Internal Communications & Programming

Develop the substance and strategy behind AI‑related internal communications, including newsletters, intranet content, leadership updates, and engagement campaigns.

Work with internal comms teams to deliver campaigns promoting new AI product launches, feedback gathering efforts, governance and responsible AI training, and strategic initiatives and milestones.

Manage and evolve the internal AI intranet hub with relevant content, demos, event calendars, and training resources.

Coordinate internal education programs in partnership with HR and product/tech teams, ensuring clarity around ethical usage, business value, and user enablement.

Qualifications Required:

10+ years of technical professional experience.

5+ years of experience in a strategic role involving partnerships, technology enablement, communications, or enterprise innovation, with people management.

Deep familiarity with AI vendors and technologies, with the ability to assess product capabilities and align them to business needs.

Excellent relationship‑building and vendor management skills, with a track record of influencing product development and extracting strategic value from partnerships.

Exceptional communication and storytelling skills (written and verbal) tailored for executive and non‑technical audiences.

Experience shaping enterprise narratives, training content, and innovation programming with broad organizational impact.

Experience working with a variety of corporate functions, including marketing, HR, legal, finance and technology.

Preferred:

Prior experience in, or exceptional passion for, the media and entertainment industries.

Experience organizing innovation‑focused events such as hackathons, showcases, and seminars.

Experience with CMS tools (e.g., SharePoint), PowerPoint, newsletters, and video‑based communication.

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Engineering, or related field.
