Cloud Engineer

We are looking for systems engineers to work on a platform engineering team to produce reusable infrastructure and software components to support a wide variety of large, mission-critical, user-facing applications and services produced by multiple project teams. The engineers will be responsible for producing both robust, reusable software solutions and business processes centered around modern, industry standard infrastructure as code and DevOps tools to harden applications, improve resiliency, reduce costs, and accelerate speed of delivery to mission customers.
Demonstrated experience:
Leveraging cloud-native tools to build infrastructure and sustain applications in a cloud environment (AWS preferred)
Writing cloud infrastructure as code (IaC) tools (Terraform preferred)
Working with containers and associated technologies such as Docker, Podman, Kubernetes, and Helm
Delivering and debugging applications written in languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, or Ruby running in Linux-based environments
Developing software in Python (preferred), Java, or JavaScript
Delivering and maintaining relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL, or document databases such as Elasticsearch or Solr, to include managed databases such as AWS Relational Database Service (RDS) or OpenSearch
Providing tier 3 support to debug applications and infrastructure; performing root cause analysis of failures
Using Git and working on cross-functional teams with Git-based workflows
