Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago is ranked in all 10 specialties by the U.S. News & World Report.**Location**680 Lake Shore Drive**Job Description****The Senior Manager, Portfolio Delivery leads the planning, execution, and delivery of analytics initiatives within the Data, Insights, & AI (DIA) department.**## ## **This role oversees the entire analytics portfolio lifecycle, including intake, prioritization, sequencing, and reporting, while ensuring alignment with DIA’s goals, budgets, timelines, and delivery expectations.**## ## **Additionally, the Senior Manager advances the department’s Agile maturity, fosters a collaborative and high-performing culture, and coaches teams in Agile at Scale practices. This position also involves partnering with the Product Manager, Data Governance, to ensure aligned execution across major DIA programs and projects, and leads both full-time employees and consultants to achieve delivery excellence and operational rigor.**## **Essential Job Functions:*** Leads the comprehensive portfolio planning lifecycle, including intake, prioritization, resource capacity planning, risk mitigation, and execution tracking for DIA initiatives. Partnering with the Enterprise PMO to align enterprise-wide standards and shared project delivery models.* Manages and mentors a dynamic team of Scrum Masters, Project Managers, and delivery consultants to ensure disciplined project execution and clear accountability. The authority to hire, separate, promote, demote, write and administer performance evaluations.* Oversees budget management, SOW oversight, and vendor coordination for external delivery resources, ensuring efficient and effective use of resources.* Build and sustains the Agile Delivery Practice, coaching individuals and teams, supporting continuous improvement, and evolving agile ways of working using Agile at Scale methods.* Implements advanced tools and techniques for portfolio reporting and delivery transparency, including dashboards, metrics, and status reporting for internal and stakeholder use.* Collaborates closely with product management to align roadmaps and delivery sequencing across data, analytics, and reporting initiatives.* Other job functions as assigned.**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:*** Bachelor’s degree in a related field required; Master’s degree preferred.* **Certifications such as PMP and CSM** are preferred.* **8 years of experience** in Information Technology, including **4+ years of people leadership** experience, with a strong track record of coaching, mentoring, and developing high-performing teams.* Proven portfolio and program management skills, including experience with tools like Jira, Smartsheet, or equivalent.* Strong **communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management** skills across multidisciplinary teams and leadership levels.* Ability to oversee **project budgets, vendor SOWs, and external consulting engagements**.* Strong background in **Agile methodologies and delivery coaching** (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, SAFe); experience leading Agile at Scale transformation efforts is preferred.* Experience in **healthcare, analytics, or data-intensive environments** is a plus.**Education**Bachelor's Degree (Required)**Pay Range**$117,520.00-$193,918.40 SalaryAt Lurie Children’s, we are committed to competitive and fair compensation aligned with market rates and internal equity, reflecting individual contributions, experience, and expertise. The pay range for this job indicates minimum and maximum targets for the position. Ranges are regularly reviewed to stay aligned with market conditions.
