Bargaining Unit: UUP Job Summary: The Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program in the School of Health Professions at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University is seeking a full-time Clinical Assistant Professor (12MO). The successful candidate will: Serve as a full-time faculty member providing classroom and lab instruction in assigned courses as part of the CAAHEP curriculum. Assess student learning and skills and provide academic advisement. Provide mentorship of senior projects as well as participation in clinical site supervision, student recruitment, and college service. Maintain ARDMS credentials and clinical practice experience. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited U.S. college/university, and must have graduated from an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program. Prior clinical experience required. Excellent oral and written communication skills and computer literacy as well as strong organizational skills. Preferred Qualifications: RDCS, RDMS, RVT Certifications. Master's Degree. Academic experience. Work Schedule: Salary Grade/Rank: S
