The Director of Digital Engagement will lead and execute the fast‑growing digital marketing practice of Tiny Mighty Communications. This role will be responsible for developing and hands‑on executing strategic digital marketing and social media programs that generate leads and drive growth for the agency’s B2B and industrial clients, as well as serving as a core member of the new client pitch team. A key component of this position will be executing brand assessments, LinkedIn strategy development, thought leadership strategy, social media campaigns, and email marketing campaigns while building the foundation for a future digital department as the business grows.
We are looking for someone with previous agency experience and proven success executing both organic and paid digital marketing and social media programs for clients. We need someone who is an expert in LinkedIn marketing, Google ads, YouTube ads, Meta platforms, TikTok, Semrush, MailChimp, HubSpot and other best‑in‑class digital marketing tools used for content publishing and research, data, and analysis. Previous experience in B2B marketing communications is preferred but not required.
This position is full‑time in the office Monday‑Thursday with a remote working option on Fridays and reports to the President of Tiny Mighty Communications.
Duties/Responsibilities
Digital Strategy Development : Develop and deliver digital strategies directly through hands‑on execution, including brand assessments, LinkedIn strategy, and thought leadership frameworks. Define and grow the digital marketing practice of Tiny Mighty Communications, including identifying and deploying needed tools/platforms and training Tiny Mighty account teams on how to use these tools in the B2B industrial and manufacturing sectors.
Client Engagement : Act as both the strategic advisor and primary execution lead for client digital programs. Work closely with Tiny Mighty clients to understand their goals and deliver tailored digital marketing programs that meet their needs and align with broader marcom goals.
Lead Generation : Own the execution of these programs end‑to‑end, including audience targeting, content deployment, reporting, and optimization. Develop and deliver strategic digital marketing programs that help drive sales for Tiny Mighty clients; these programs will include (but are not limited to) LinkedIn content marketing, paid/organic social, Google/search ads, YouTube advertising, etc.
Email Marketing & Automation : Lead the development, execution, and optimization of email marketing programs, including segmentation, automation workflows, performance analysis, and platform best practices across tools such as Mailchimp and HubSpot.
SEO & Content Marketing : Leverage SEMrush and related tools to conduct ongoing competitive and keyword research contributing to content, social, and email strategies. Identify relevant keywords and develop and implement content marketing strategies that drive search traffic to client websites.
Content Creation : Create and package digital content—especially LinkedIn and email content—when needed to support campaign execution. Collaborate with the Tiny Mighty account team and other content creators to produce high‑quality digital content that resonates with B2B audiences and can be deployed across multiple platforms including (but not limited to) LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and TikTok.
Analytics and Reporting : Monitor, analyze, and report on digital marketing performance, including comp set analysis, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
Team Leadership : Serve as a “player‑coach,” executing the work while laying the foundation for a future digital team. Mentor the Tiny Mighty team as the practice grows to institutionalize digital marketing best practices and recruit/manage new teammates with digital marketing expertise to meet client demands.
Business Development : Partner with the Tiny Mighty Communications CEO, Vice President and other agency leaders to grow and expand the company’s digital marketing practice; responsibilities include identifying new clients to pitch, serving as a key member of the client pitch team, and developing new digital marketing products and services to offer that anticipate and meet client needs. Serve as the digital subject‑matter expert in these conversations and demonstrate executional knowledge during pitches.
AI Integration & Team Enablement : Identify and implement AI‑driven tools and workflows that improve digital program performance, content creation, and reporting. Serve as the agency’s AI advisor by training, coaching, and supporting the Tiny Mighty team on how to apply AI technologies responsibly and effectively across client work and internal processes.
Trend Watching : Maintain knowledge of emerging technologies and trends in digital marketing, including how the agency should best leverage AI to inform and execute client work.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Competencies
Verifiable success creating and implementing strategic digital marketing programs/campaigns that deliver measurable results and meet brand objectives.
Expert on various digital marketing and social media platforms, including LinkedIn, Meta, Google, YouTube, Semrush, MailChimp, HubSpot, etc.
Proven ability to think strategically and operate tactically across multiple projects and programs.
Excellent project management skills, strong follow‑through, deadline‑oriented, and extremely organized.
Strong presentation skills, natural leader, professionalism, and strategic thinker.
Experienced in scope of work development and client budget management.
Must be able to work outside normal business hours as needed to meet client deadlines, or to attend meetings/events.
Education and Experience
5‑7 years of digital marketing and social media experience, preferably at a marketing/communications agency.
Budget development and management experience, including overseeing direct reports.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, PR or other industry‑related field.

Physical Requirements
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
