Join our undergraduate summer fellowship program in medical physics.
The Mass General Brigham Undergraduate Summer Fellowship in Medical Physics is a 10-week paid learning experience for undergraduate students who have declared—or are eligible to declare—a major in physics, engineering, or related sciences. This program offers a unique opportunity to explore the dynamic and impactful field of medical physics within Radiation Oncology.
Selected participants will be paired with a Radiation Oncology Physics Faculty Member at Massachusetts General Hospital or Brigham and Women’s Hospital to work on a research project and will be invited to attend various departmental seminars and lectures throughout their fellowship. A hybrid option may be available based on hospital policy and student preference. Participants will receive a stipend of $6,000 in two installments.
Eligibility
Completed at least 2 years of undergraduate studies and have declared (or are eligible to declare) a major in physics, engineering, or other sciences
United States (US) citizen or permanent US resident
Have not previously participated in the American Association of Physicists in Medicine DREAM or Undergraduate Summer Fellowship Program (concurrent applications are allowed)
