The FQHC Dentist works in conjunction with the Dental Manager, the Dental Director, the COO, and the CEO of the OSU Total Health Care Center to promote a team‑based approach to the delivery of dental care. The dentist may be a preceptor for pre‑doctoral dental students from The Ohio State University College of Dentistry through their Ohio Project designation. The dental students will be treating patients of the FQHC under the direction and supervision of the dentist. The successful candidate is expected to set a positive example for others to follow in their clinical expertise, patient satisfaction, and medical record‑keeping responsibilities.
