This is an
Adaptive Acuity Unit , meaning the nurse will care for both standard Med Surg/Tele patients and,
on occasion , PCU-level patients.
Providing PCU-level care is mandatory and cannot be declined.
Strong drip, charge, and progressive care skills are required. This role is best suited for a highly experienced RN who is confident with higher-acuity patients, adaptable to frequent floating, and comfortable supporting smaller or critical-access hospitals. Required Experience
2+ years CURRENT Med Surg/Tele experience Charge experience required PCU experience strongly required Drip experience required
(vasoactive & titratable drips) ICU experience strongly preferred Minimum 3 months of prior travel experience
(non-negotiable) Critical access or small hospital experience preferred Must have reliable
personal vehicle Must include permanent address in profile Certifications Required
BLS (AHA) ACLS (AHA) Unit Expectations
Provide Med Surg/Tele + PCU-level care as needed Perform as
Charge RN
during assignments Float to
any inpatient unit
within scope Work
every other weekend
and holidays as needed Must handle common higher-acuity conditions including:
Sepsis DKA Pneumonia ARDS Post-vascular procedures Standard PCU/ICU titratable drips
