Talent4Health is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Jackson, Mississippi.Job Description & RequirementsSpecialty: Med SurgDiscipline: RNStart Date: 01/12/2026Duration: 13 weeks36 hours per weekShift: 12 hours, nightsEmployment Type: TravelResponsibilities• Care for Hematology/Oncology patients, including chemo• Manage 32-bed unit with ratios 1:5 to 1:6 depending on acuity• Titrate heparin drips; may start amiodarone before transfer• Monitor patients via central telemetry communication• Work with charge nurse who may take light or full assignment• Collaborate with nurse aides and RT staff (CPAP/BiPAP; high flow on 2N)• Work 12-hour shifts (7a-7p or 7p-7a); fill schedule gaps• Follow weekend rotation (every other weekend or 2 per month)• Float to all Med/Surg units within skillset• Comply with dress code—solid professional scrubs• Complete first-day onboarding tasks and 2 orientation shifts• Adhere to 50-mile rule, fingerprint requirement, flu vaccine requirement• Use Epic proficiently for charting RequirementsExperience• Level 1 trauma experience required• Large-facility high-acuity experience• Comfortable with lines and chest tubes• Hem/Onc or chemo experience preferredLicenses/Certifications• BLSEducation• Nursing degree required Job ID: T4H - 914About Talent4HealthA leader and innovator, offering comprehensive talent solutions for the healthcare industry across the nation.
