The facility is seeking an experienced
Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) RN
to support a high-acuity cardiac surgical program. This position requires strong circulating and/or scrubbing experience in CVOR cases and the ability to function independently in a fast-paced surgical environment. Call rotation is required, and nurses must be comfortable responding to urgent/emergent cardiac cases. Key Responsibilities
Provide intraoperative nursing care for cardiovascular and thoracic surgical procedures Circulate and support the surgical team during complex cardiac surgeries Participate in required call rotation (7–10 call shifts per month) Assist with patient preparation and postoperative handoff Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia, perfusionists, and OR staff Maintain compliance with facility policies, safety standards, and aseptic techniques Required Experience
Must have CVOR experience
(required) Proven ability to work independently in a cardiac OR setting Strong knowledge of cardiac surgical instruments, equipment, and workflows Certifications Required
BLS (AHA) Additional facility-required credentials will be verified during onboarding
