Job Overview Ensemble Health Partners is a leading provider of technology-enabled revenue cycle management solutions for health systems, including hospitals and affiliated physician groups. The role supports patient eligibility and benefits for uninsured and under‑insured patients.
Key Responsibilities
Interview patients to determine eligibility for state Medicaid or financial assistance programs.
Assist with application processes to facilitate accurate and appropriate submissions.
Follow up on submitted applications to ensure timely billing or adjustment processing.
Document all actions and communications in the assigned patient accounting system.
Maintain knowledge of all state and federal program requirements and share updates with colleagues and supervisors.
Develop and maintain proactive relationships with county, state, and federal Medicaid caseworkers, collaborating with other revenue cycle departments.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
1‑2 years of experience in the healthcare industry interacting with patients about hospital financial issues.
Understanding of revenue cycle processes (admission, billing, payments, denials).
Comprehensive knowledge of patient insurance processes for authorizations and benefits verification.
Knowledge of health insurance requirements and medical terminology, CPT, or procedure codes.
Experience in patient access with managed care/insurance and call center preferred.
Minimum Education
High School Diploma or GED. Post‑secondary education and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Certifications
Complete CRCR certification within 9 months of hire (company‑paid).
Compensation and Benefits
Pay range: $20.45 – $22.50 per hour, based on experience.
On‑site position at NCH – North Hospital, Naples, FL.
