My client is one of the most established and highly respected general contractors in the Chicagoland area, with a strong reputation, exceptional company culture, and a diverse portfolio of commercial, institutional, and specialty projects. As their project pipeline expands, they are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join their team.
Base pay range $150,000.00/yr - $175,000.00/yr
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage multiple construction projects from pre-construction through close-out
Develop project scopes, budgets, schedules, and risk-management plans
Act as the primary point of contact for clients, owners, and key stakeholders
Oversee procurement, contract negotiations, and change-order management
Coordinate and collaborate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and field personnel
Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, quality, and safety compliance
Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to project teams and junior staff
Manage all project documentation, reporting, and financial tracking
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field
10+ years of progressive experience in construction project management
Strong understanding of commercial construction processes and project lifecycles
Proficiency with project management software and Microsoft Office tools
Ability to commute to and work on-site in the Downtown Chicago area
