This Information Security Project Manager role is on site five days a week supporting a large banking client. The contract lasts for a full year with potential extensions up to 18 or 24 months, with conversion to a full‑time position possible at the end. Successful candidates must pass a lifetime background check and be willing to work on site in one of the listed office locations. Job Description This role is responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering defined deliverables that typically require engagement from multiple teams. Key responsibilities include communicating work objectives, coordinating delivery, managing risks, ensuring compliance with standards, and providing end‑to‑end visibility into the health of the deliverables. The role ensures that execution meets the client’s expectations in terms of functionality, quality, timeline, and cost, facilitating sync points across multiple organizations to enable delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and facilitate routines to support delivery (e.g., kick‑offs, status reviews, stakeholder meetings, change controls, tollgates, etc.).
Plan and coordinate delivery and dependencies across multiple teams.
Facilitate dependency management, risk management, and impediment removal for the defined deliverables.
Promote facilitation of communication and collaboration across organizations to support the deliverable completion and timeline.
Gather and facilitate status updates for deliverables to stakeholders and leadership regarding delivery, risks/issues, and schedule.
Ensure execution is aligned with deliverable requirements by working with sponsors and stakeholders.
Ensure deliverables comply with Enterprise‑Change Management standards.
Support resource planning for delivery/execution.

Advanced understanding of security business practices and familiarity with project management processes and controls
