Director of Operations at MK Search | Hunter+Sage Our client is seeking an experienced Talent Management Director to shape and elevate the full employee lifecycle—from recruitment strategy to leadership development and organizational effectiveness. This role partners closely with executive leadership to build a strong, engaged, high-performing workforce and ensures talent initiatives align with long-term organizational goals.

Responsibilities

Serve as a key advisor to senior leadership on talent strategy, workforce planning, and organizational development.

Build and execute recruiting strategies that support both immediate and future staffing needs.

Drive programs focused on employee engagement, performance management, leadership development, and succession planning.

Lead a team responsible for hiring processes, talent programs, and workforce development initiatives.

Collaborate across departments to understand talent needs, identify skill gaps, and design scalable training solutions.

Implement processes and metrics that evaluate program effectiveness and team performance.

Develop analytics and reporting that support strategic workforce planning.

Build strong partnerships with leaders and hiring managers to ensure alignment between business needs and talent priorities.

Promote a culture of continuous improvement, high performance, and operational excellence.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field.

8–10 years of progressive experience in talent management or talent development, including at least 3 years leading teams.

3–5 years of recruiting experience within a healthcare or hospital environment.

Experience working in unionized settings and exposure to labor relations.

Strong business acumen with the ability to influence at all organizational levels.

Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills.

Ability to navigate a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.

High attention to detail, strong project management skills, and excellent follow-through.

Proficiency with HR technology systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and advanced PowerPoint skills.

Willingness to work onsite with routine travel to multiple locations; occasional after-hours support may be required.

Preferred Qualifications

Professional HR certifications (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP).

Master’s degree in HR, Business, or a related field.

10+ years of progressive talent management experience with multiple years of leadership responsibility.
