Location Cary, NC

Responsibilities

Provide architecture and technology leadership for building tools, frameworks, procedures, and standards.

Utilize Docker images and builds for containerization of applications and services.

Modernize legacy infrastructure, perform cloud migration, and design solutions for architecture upgrades.

Modernize SQL deployment patterns using Kubernetes, Helm Charts, Jenkins, and OpenShift container platform to create consistency and simplify processes.

Tune Oracle database queries and stored procedures using PL/SQL developer.

Coordinate web application certificate setup, deployment and rotation.

Set up monitoring and alerting tools, including Grafana and Splunk, to improve stability and resiliency of business‑critical web applications and background processes.

Integrate internal systems, web applications, and batch jobs with external services, including identity providers, ServiceNow, Azure Graph API, and SharePoint Online APIs.

Automate software packaging and deployment processes through scripting using PowerShell.

Utilize REST services, .NET Core, .NET, TypeScript, Node.js, Angular, microservices, MVC, and Entity Framework Core in executing duties.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field or equivalent.

Five (5) years of progressively responsible experience developing and optimizing DevOps platform infrastructure utilizing DevOps practices, including Configuration‑as‑code, Pipeline‑as‑code, infrastructure‑as‑code, immutable infrastructure, blue/green deployment, shift‑left, and observability.

Compensation & Benefits Salary range: $167,475.00 – $245,000.00 per year. This position is eligible for Deutsche Bank’s Employee Referral Incentive Program.
