Senior System and Integration Test Engineer (SDET)

Responsibilities

Develop and create master test plans, test cases, and test schedules.

Execute test cases and scenarios across development projects, including functionality, user interface, regression, security, and user acceptance testing.

Document test scripts and plans tied back to requirements.

Identify, track, and manage defects, issues, risks, and action items.

Validate system testing requirements, prepare reports, record defects, and track defect resolution.

Perform regression testing to verify defect fixes.

Provide input for program schedules and create detailed use cases.

Develop and maintain integration test plans and procedures.

Execute integration test cases across multiple project platforms in the integration test environment.

Validate integration testing requirements.

Prepare reports, record, and track defects.

Identify and report defects for continuous improvement.

Assist in resolving technical issues and recommend improvements.

Qualifications

Strong analytics background.

Experience coding using Java with Selenium; familiarity with Python, Perl, Bash, or other scripting languages.

Automation experience in continuous integration environments.

Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab, GitHub, and Jenkins.

Strong API testing exposure using ReadyAPI, Rest Assured, Karate, etc.

DevOps background; hands‑on Linux/Unix OS.

Database experience and ability to write SQL queries.

Programming or development background strongly preferred.

Cloud/Azure certification advantageous.

Knowledge of analytics and modeling.

Exposure to various cloud technologies.

Basic project management skills, time management, and excellent oral and written communication.

6+ years of QA test engineering experience.

B.S. in Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent.

Job Profile The Quality Test Engineer is responsible for end‑to‑end quality control and assurance activities, including developing test plans, executing tests, reporting defects, automating functional test cases for UI and API, and integrating testing suites into the DevOps delivery pipeline.
