Python AWS Developer (with Golang & AWS Lambda) – Contract
Location: New Jersey (Hybrid)
Type: Contract
Domain: Banking / Enterprise Cloud Applications
Base pay range: $70.00/hr – $75.00/hr
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and deploy serverless applications using AWS Lambda.
Build and optimize backend services in Python and Golang.
Integrate APIs with AWS services (API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, CloudWatch).
Collaborate with architects, business analysts, and QA teams to deliver scalable solutions.
Implement CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment.
Monitor and troubleshoot distributed applications using CloudWatch Events, ELK/Kibana.
Ensure compliance with enterprise security and regulatory standards.
Required Skills
Strong programming experience in Python (mandatory).
Hands‑on development with Golang for microservices.
Proven expertise in AWS Lambda and serverless architecture.
Experience with AWS services: API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, CloudWatch, IAM.
Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar).
Familiarity with REST API design, JSONPath/XPath for validation.
Strong debugging skills with CloudWatch, ELK stack (Kibana).
