Oracle WMS Consultant – Meta Design Solutions

Key Value Proposition: We are seeking an experienced Oracle WMS Consultant with hands‑on Oracle E‑Business Suite R12 functional and implementation expertise to lead and deliver warehouse management and discrete manufacturing solutions (Inventory, Work in Process, Bills of Material, WMS). The successful candidate will work on ERP implementation and improvement projects, translate business requirements into robust Oracle solutions, and ensure high‑quality delivery from design through production support.
Key Responsibilities
Lead functional design and implementation activities for Oracle EBS R12 modules focused on Discrete Manufacturing: Inventory, Work in Process (WIP), Bills of Material (BOM) and Warehouse Management System (WMS).
Gather, analyze and document business requirements; conduct FIT‑GAP analysis and recommend pragmatic Oracle‑based solutions aligned to manufacturing and warehouse operations.
Prepare and own solution artifacts including Solution Design Documents, Functional Specifications, Configuration Documents, Integration/Interface designs, and Test Scripts for SIT and UAT.
Perform Oracle Manufacturing and WMS configuration and setup tasks in R12 environments; validate setups through unit testing and integration testing.
Design and validate integrations between Oracle EBS and external systems (e.g., MES, WCS, third‑party logistics, barcode/RF systems, legacy systems); collaborate with technical teams on interfacing approaches (APIs, flat files, web services).
Develop and execute comprehensive testing strategy: guide and conduct unit testing, system/integration testing (SIT), support business UAT, and lead production sanity checks during cutover.
Support cutover planning and post‑go‑live stabilization activities including troubleshooting, root‑cause analysis, and production support handover.
Deliver end‑user training materials and conduct training sessions; mentor junior consultants and act as a subject‑matter expert for manufacturing and WMS processes.
