is seeking an Oracle Financials Cloud Senior Consultant located within commuting distance of Richardson, TX, or who is willing to relocate to the area.
Responsibilities
Provide functional solutions for Oracle Financials, focusing on General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, Order-to-Cash, and Procure-to-Pay.
Interact with customer process consultants and business SMEs to understand and analyze various processes.
Engage in business process consulting and play a critical role in the development, configuration, and deployment of overall solutions.
Shape value‑adding consulting solutions that enable clients to meet changing global business needs.
Execute implementation strategy, capture business and system requirements, prepare functional specifications, design solutions, prototype, test, train, and implement practical business solutions.
Identify functionality gaps and support the development of solutions for them.
Maintain an understanding of Oracle Cloud strategy on data conversion/migrations, inbound/outbound interfaces, and reporting with third‑party applications.
Communicate by telephone, email, or face‑to‑face and comply with required travel.
Sit and work at a computer for extended periods of time.
Required Qualifications
Located within commuting distance of Richardson, TX, or willing to relocate.
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution; three years of progressive experience may substitute for one year of education.
At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.
Oracle Financials experience and functional knowledge of General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, Order‑to‑Cash, Procure‑to‑Pay.
Implementation experience with a deep understanding of Oracle Cloud.
At least 2 or 3 full lifecycle implementation experiences in Oracle Financials Cloud (AP, AR, GL, FA).
Solid understanding of Oracle Project Methodology (OUM) and Agile testing strategies such as Conference Room Pilots (CRP) and Process Play‑backs (SIT and UAT).
Excellent communication skills and ability to adapt in business interaction.
Strong Oracle functional expertise and industry experience in services organizations.
Experience executing implementation strategy, capturing requirements, preparing functional specifications, solution design, prototyping, testing, training, and implementing practical business solutions.
Knowledge of Oracle Cloud data conversion/migration and interface/reporting with third‑party applications.
