Responsibilities
System Administration: installation, configuration, and maintenance of SAP systems, including client copies, system refreshes, and environment setup for development, quality, and production.
Transport Management System (TMS): oversee the transport request process across various SAP environments.
System upgrades and patching: implement support packs, patches, and kernel upgrades.
Performance tuning: monitor and enhance system performance.
Database management: engage with SAP HANA, Oracle, and SQL Server.
Operating systems: skilled in Linux, Unix, and Windows.
Backup and recovery: execute and manage backup and recovery processes.
Integration: set up and manage connectivity between SAP and third‑party systems via RFC connections.
BTP administration: platform and account administration for SAP BTP, including global accounts, runtime provisioning, SAP Integration Suite, and SAP Cloud Connector.
Collaboration: work with project teams on QA and production cut‑over tasks and cross‑train Tier 2 SAP teams.
